This Fit is Bananas

I’m sure we’ve all been told at some point or another not to play with our food but ain’t nobody said anything about wearing it, am I right? 

In all seriousness, I  am really loving sets this Summer, not only because they make styling easy but because of the endless  prints and styles that they come in! If you’re looking for something that is more seasonal and playful, I suggest going for something like this banana set I have on, which can easily transition from city to sea, on your next Summer vacation!

In order to make this more of a city look, I chose to focus on the black found in the set by choosing to pair it with my favourite pair of black faux patent-leather shoes from Zara  and my black H&M fedora. If you wanted to wear this on a beach vacation, I would pair it with a straight brim or floppy straw hat and cream, yellow, or camel slides or espadrille wedges.

Sets are also great for those of you who want to steer away from the typical Summer dress but who may still struggle with knowing how to style a skirt with the right top. 

If you’re not sold yet I have just one word for you: Pockets!

I don’t know why finding a dress or skirt with pockets triggers immediate excitement but I had bought this set online without even realizing it had pockets until I tried it on.  Let me tell you, your girl didn’t even need a sick beat to bust out into my happy dance!
